Congratulations to you all!!

CADA is very pleased to announce these winners of our Youth Video Competition. CADA created a video competition aimed at young people for young people. We believe teens and pre-teens will embrace messages from their peers about the importance of abstaining from alcohol use. We would like to thank all those who entered this competition.

The topic of the video was, “What children and teens can do to prevent alcohol use amongst their friends and why this is important”

We received ten entries and the Board was given the unenviable task of selecting a winner. I’m sure my fellow board members would agree, if we could have selected all of them, we would have. The submissions were excellent and I am pleased to point out we have many budding directors, producers and actors amongst our young people.

Some of the criteria for the video included: The participants had to be between 9 and 18 years old. It had to be 50 seconds in length with no more than six students working on the production.

Once again, thank you to all who entered this competition!!
