Community Awareness program

Community Awareness program

CADA is dedicated to encouraging responsible alcohol behavior in Bermuda, with a specific emphasis on reducing underage drinking, drinking and driving and the illegal selling and serving of alcohol to patrons who are underage or already intoxicated. To accomplish these very important objectives, we operate a Community Awareness Program which consists of:

CADA conducts media campaigns throughout the year to raise the publics’ awareness of alcohol related issues and to encourage responsible alcohol behavior.

CADA partners with other prevention agencies (PRIDE, The Family Centre, Department of Education, Bermuda Police Service etc.) on prevention initiatives.

CADA participates in interactive and informational booths at various community events throughout the year.

CADA hosts a number of activities every April, which is a very important month in our calendar as it is ‘Alcohol Awareness Month’. We use this month to highlight the detrimental effects alcohol has on our community and to encourage responsible alcohol behavior.
